=============================================================== From: Cameron Kilgore ------------------------------------------------------ Last I checked, I didn't think anything but Firefox used WAI-ARIA, so to me= , using Javascript and AJAX to deliver content is a no-go for me. And maybe it'll save bandwidth -- but it just increases the amount of HTTP queries pu= t through on a page. More queries means having to buy more machines or VM instances. Also, this shit kills my back button, which isn't cool.

=============================================================== From: William Wade ------------------------------------------------------ The real problem is with simple sites they don't take the time to make it no-js compatible. When it is there is no need for #! or # or /nojs at all. I have not completely tested it, but my latest site is a good example: www.browsetheriver.com It is all Ajaxy but if you don't have js turned on it should all still work... Should at any rate... =============================================================== From: Mike Harrison ------------------------------------------------------ I got an error 406. Never seen that before. Error 406 Not Acceptable An appropriate representation of the requested resource / could not be found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Then, with Firefox I get: The server at www.browsetheriver.com is taking too long to respond. The third time.. I got a freakish Amazon looking page With a Kid A album on it. I'm not clicking on a scraped/framed/iframed Amazon page..

=============================================================== From: Dave Brockman ------------------------------------------------------ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 In FF, I got "loading random page from Amazon" and then an Amazon iframe, with the BTR menu on the left side. =============================================================== From: Cameron Kilgore ------------------------------------------------------ You guys are no fun.

=============================================================== From: William Wade ------------------------------------------------------ The idea is to pull random products from amazon, but there are not any easy ways to do it without an iframe, not and look nice that I could think of. Any ideas? I tried displaying title, image, and description from the API but they don't allow you to pull review stars anymore and not to mention description quality varies greatly. An iframe was all I could think of. .
