From: Rod-Lists
Anyone out there working with dstar on Raspberry pi?
What software does it need?

=============================================================== From: Rod-Lists ------------------------------------------------------ I did find that. I've been reading the standard linux version as well. Do you need a DSTAR radio to use the DVAP? ----- Bret McHone wrote:

=============================================================== From: Bret McHone ------------------------------------------------------ I think you do. DSTAR is a bit foreign to me so I'll have to do a lot more research on it. Personally I favor the Yaesu digital gear a lot more since it allows for both analog and digital equipment to be used simultaneously.

=============================================================== From: Rod-Lists ------------------------------------------------------ I'd like to see what freeDV can do. Much smaller bandwith with an open codec. However the DR1 is the first repeater designed for the ham bands. Every thing else up to this point was commercial or something cobbled together. ----- Bret McHone wrote:
