Deep Freeze Alt?

From: David White

One idea: Setup a Linux host with a Windows VM that just boots to the
original snapshot every time.

I think I've heard of people doing that before. Thoughts on deployment?

=============================================================== From: Stephen Kraus ------------------------------------------------------ PXE Boot targeted at a terminal server hosting a locked down session of Windows, I've set up a couple of these at several offices where they need basic desktop services and it can actually function fairly well. You can host the VMs on a *nix boxen of your choice.

=============================================================== From: Bret McHone ------------------------------------------------------ Vmware view linked clones and personas/roaming profiles is how we do that. It deletes the vm every time they log off and spins up a new one. -B
