router trolling

Heading out to a friends in Dallas this weekend and he's having wifi issues
in his home so I get to play geek when I get there. It's a 90 year old
home built solid and he's using an old apple router so I'm suspecting most
of his streaming issues just being "time to upgrade". What's some of your
favorite Best Buy-able wireless routers these days for getting thru old,
solid house walls?

Frys carries Engenius. I've never touched one of their "routers", I use their APs and Bridges a lot and find them quite powerful and easy on the wallet. The "Multi-Device Config Software" is cute, but I find it less hassle to manage them individually via browser or SSH if one is so inclined.
