USB wifi adapters have dropped in price in the past few years

From: Phil Shapiro
------------------------------------------------------
Not long ago I used to pay $12 to $15 for USB wifi adapters. Now they're down in the $7 to $8 range.
For example, this USB wifi adapter works with Linux and costs $7.44. Sweet. http:// tinyurl.com/q2tm2g3

These are useful in making Chromeboxes from discarded computers. Keep in mind, if a discarded Pentium IV computer has no hard drive, you can boot it to Chromium OS from a USB Flash drive -- and then use one of these USB wifi adapters to let you place your homemade Chromebox anywhere in your house or apartment.

We can beat our swords into ploughshares and our discarded computers into Linux systems.
