=============================================================== From: Mike Harrison ------------------------------------------------------ Sigh. Iron Man was right about Chattanooga. See, the script writers contacted the Chattanooga Technology Council and based that movie bit about their experience. Note the twitter feeds, like their eventbrite pages and other places also link to - which is offline. I love the image on the site for the "Spirit of Innovation Luncheon": A guy with suspenders, a guitar and a goofy hat. It's kind of like bashing Microsoft though, no fun bashing when they are already so (self) beat up.

=============================================================== From: William Wade ------------------------------------------------------ Been at DevLink at the Chattanooga Convention Center. The wifi Internet here has been flipping between almost unusable and completely unusable. Likely not the Internet connection, but too few access points, but makes the "GigCity" look really bad.

=============================================================== From: Lynn Dixon ------------------------------------------------------ I hate to admit it, but I have always thought the whole "Gig City" monicher was just a marketing ploy.

=============================================================== From: Mike Harrison ------------------------------------------------------ Once upon a time, I put the firewall, ethernet switches and Cisco AP's in the ceiling at the Convention Center, sometime before 2003. I fear they might be the same ones.

=============================================================== From: Chad Smith ------------------------------------------------------ I wonder.... do you think they have posted any new pictures to Facebook recently? *- Chad W. Smith*
