Dave's Garage Recycling Fire Sale!

The dumpster is in the drive-way, if you want any of these, please
speak up quickly. All items are free to a good home, first come,
first serve. All items except the Digi should be in full working
condition. Just want to make one final offer on my old toys in case
anyone has a desire for any of these items.

1 HP LaserJet 5000 + 2 extra paper drawers. It will need a drum
before much of a duty cycle is run on it. It is a tank and will run
forever.

1 Cisco 4003 Switch, 2 x PSU, 2 x Linecard slots, 1 x Supervisor slot.
A Sup IV (which will do Layer 3 Routing) is less than $50 on Ebay. I
can supply 1 10/100 Line Card. Tons of cheap parts on Ebay, great for
CCNA studies, can fulfill Routing & Switching roles.

1 Cisco 4006 Switch, 3 x PSU, 5 x Linecard slots, 1 x Supervisor slot.
Same Sup IV that works above, works in this unit as well. I can
supply 1 10/100 Line Card. Tons of cheap parts on Ebay, great for
CCNA studies, can fulfill Routing & Switching roles.

1 Compaq 6500, 4 x Xeon, I think 2GB RAM. U160 Linux supported SMART
controller. It was running RedHat when I shut it down. Yes, it was
so long ago it was still called RedHat. It runs Netware too! :)

1 HP LC Netserver. Old, but not old enough for Ed. Tying into our
recent Novell conversation, this is your chance to own your very own
Netware server!

If anyone wants to tinker with it, I have an 8 port Digi TS console
server that started making the "clickety-clack" noise when powered on
last weekend. I'll ship this to anyone who might want to play with it.

Ed, I pulled the Packard Bell out of the pile, I'm still holding it
safe for you. It should reach your age discrimination limit any day
now....

Regards,

dtb

=============================================================== From: Dave Brockman ------------------------------------------------------ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Aaron, I really must object. This is the "Clean Dave's Garage Out" Thread. Please start your own hardware pimp thread :) Besides, those have the smallest non-PoE PSUs in them, they aren't that bad. Not nearly as bad as the 4500s. They require a dedicated circuit each (16amp!). =============================================================== From: Dave Brockman ------------------------------------------------------ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 You are welcome to either of the ones I have. I have CATOS Sups for them if you only need layer 2. You can get 98 ports out of the 4003 (2 x 48 RJ45 Linecards + 2 GigE ports on the Sup). If that isn't enough, step on up to the 4006 :) Regards, dtb -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.17 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJSE6axAAoJEMP+wtEOVbcd00EIALHzpn43Ggd9XjAdARwD6Taj MVPBdv8+8SOzZVb4DwwrGKUuB3AbT5nwZNR3SXwkdsn6UIAzdxyNweb/BvwZXMV5 6l0fd+SZvf76PuMYKFA3GvOn7/WFVlOyrxtdG9TkZqQER8EmevbYKzxetNY+8nsV LOahO4e5qYhVw+Nqh8znqsv8hFpzZHrzHpK7pSI35Q8mDhAW1GP7aqLsW4UACQmT +I4VRE7cglO1wb3Nel/91WgjJREU/Lp5iLIVX4lH9l32mngWevI9e/i6hUFZ8+LH 2ZDNkD5RzKvyCA9mcL1lvlM8VuLKGBTU139ugB8bunjphnjPBA1BAfBPz1aPyaI= =RX9f -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
