Test driving an X5A

I'm going to be test driving (30 day free trial) one of Xi3's 5 series
computers, and buying it if I like it:

Thinking of using it as an HTPC running Plex and Sickbeard mounted to my
TV's VESA bracket, since the Boxee has been an ongoing disappointment.
Opinions?  Is it overkill?  What would you do with one if you already had a
server and a workstation you were happy with?

I have 2 of these already.  One is my play desktop in my office.  I just
wish they were not so crazy expensive compared to the Foxconn bookshelf PCs
on NewEgg.
