boot report was iMac ID

From: Rod-Lists
I think I may know why this thing was auctioned.
Now granted I'm not running the target os with the target drivers and I'm running 1st beta of 12.04 which is not bad.
But I've got some colored sparkles in the background.
That might be a hardware defect or again me not using the right drivers.

Won't do for graphics artist but I can deal with it. Awesome sound.
Built in bluetooth. I with I could get the airport work without OSX.

Just a note for anyone else in this situation, a 32bit live disc would boot both and then cat /proc/cpuinfo should give you the information you need. As long as all you need to know is if a machine is 32bit only, just try to boot a 64bit live cd. It will fail.

Thanks to both I was trying to avoid burning two cd's. But I do have a serial # they gave me.
I looked on the thing for info and didn't see any usual info tho.

=============================================================== From: William Wade ------------------------------------------------------ It would not be the driver causing the issue then.
