now that cooler weather is here, I'm taking some time "off" from the car
projects and spending some time to rediscover my computer collection, most which
I haven't fooled around with in years
So I open up a storage tub that contains some apple/mac stuff and to my
horror/amusement, both of the powerbook 190 laptops inside have green slime
coming out of them.
capacitor leakage?

Steve Jobs's Ectoplasm specificially. Green implies copper, might just be corrosion. I have a small device that recovered from such, but then got flaky later. |
